Orange Uncorked Wine Festival 2025
On June 8, 1789, James Madison introduced a series of proposed amendments to the newly ratified U.S. Constitution, which we now call the "Bill of Rights." As we approach the commencement of VA250 the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, the Revolutionary War, and US Independence in the Commonwealth of Virginia it is also imperative to remember the Spirit of Freedom that the Bill of Rights brought to our nation's citizens just 13 years after the forming of our nation. For our 2025 Orange Uncorked Wine Festival, we are headed back to our roots and returning to the grounds at James Madison's Montpelier, to celebrate the impacts Orange County and its citizens had on the forming of our nation in 1776. This breathtaking venue will offer our festival goers a spectacular backdrop for partaking in the wine tastings and other attractions we have throughout our festival. Free contests with admission to our festival include Beard and Mustache Contests and the Most Marvelous Hat on both days of our festival. Prizes will be awarded for the Most Marvelous Hat, Best Beard, Best Mustache, and Best Combination Beard & Mustache.
