Starting as a Class D minor league team in the Valley Baseball League, the league shook things up in 1961 by getting NCAA approval, letting college athletes join the fun.The Generals have racked up six Valley League playoff championships—1984, 1988, 1998, 2007, 2013, and 2014—making them one of the league’s most decorated teams.
