Celebrate history and summer in true Virginia style at the Orange County Music Fest at Montpelier, a one-of-a-kind live music event honoring the 250th Anniversary of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States of America. Taking place July 3rd, 2026, this unforgettable Independence weekend celebration brings together incredible country music, great local flavors, and a festival atmosphere on the beautiful grounds of James Madison’s Montpelier. The night will be headlined by Chris Cagle, delivering a high-energy set packed with fan favorites, joined by supporting acts and special guests Dan Tyminski Band. The day kicks off with opening performances from Dylan Schneider and James Tamelcoff, setting the tone for an evening of nonstop entertainment. Additional national touring artists may be added to the lineup. Gates will open at 9:00 AM guests are encouraged to arrive early to take advantage of everything Montpelier has to offer, including guided tours of James Madison’s home, as well as time to explore the historic grounds, gardens, and walking trails.
